On May 22, 2011 2 P-3 Orions were destroyed in a terrorist attack on a naval base in Karachi. The terrorists used Rocket Propelled Grenades to target the planes which were parked in a hanger but ne Orion (world youngest orion )A Pakistani navy Lockheed P-3 Orion coastal recon aircraft flies off after attending an airshow at Fairford, England.

They are made with a center that holds micro controllers, sensors, receivers, transmitters, power and payload. Pointing out from the center are a number of pins holding motors and propellers. This is the first episode looking at Multicopters, and Frits has a very advanced Hexacopter in the air. Later episodes will look at products you can buy, and some cool cheap and less complex alternatives new on the market will be demonstrated.

Pakistan Navy inducts first squadron of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) UQAB-II

July 20th, 2011: The first squadron of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) was formally inducted into the Pakistan Navy fleet on Wednesday. The induction ceremony was held at Pakistan Navy Mehran airbase in Karachi. The indigenously developed drones can be employed in support of Maritime Interdiction Operation (MIO) in the coastal areas. Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Noman Bashir congratulated everyone involved in the UQAB-II programme and expressed satisfaction on the induction of UAVs. He said the induction was a manifestation of the navy's commitment and resolve towards self-reliance and indigenization. vodeo by PTV

The KAIA Project will be a landmark economic development for the region and the nation, capitalizing on the Kingdom's ambitious growth plans and the Authority's efforts for Saudi Arabia to enhance the status of Jeddah as an international hub. The new development will take place in three stages starting in September 2006, the first of which could be completed in five years. Four new terminal buildings, a high-speed rail link and a capacity for up to 80 million passengers a year are among the targets proposed for a new airport. The project is designed to increase the airport’s capacity initially from 13 million passengers by 30 million passengers each year. The expansion includes airfield hard standing and paved areas, lighting, fuel network systems and storm water drainage network. There will also be a newly constructed support services building, renovation of the existing South and North Terminals and upgrades to the existing runway and airfield systems to accommodate the Ai
